Guides & Employment

Guides

White Otter goes to great effort to hire the most experienced, educated, and passionate guides - fun loving people who will guarantee that you have an unforgettable day on the river. Our staff members all hold a minimum of Wilderness First Responder and CPR certification, and have proven themselves in the area of Whitewater Rescue and Safety through extensive training and time on the rivers of Idaho. Our guides have grown up and live locally, playing on the Salmon River and in the Sawtooth Mountains we call home. You will not find a group of people who love their jobs as much as this group of fun magnets. They absolutely love what they do and it shows in the service they provide all of our guests!
