RAFTING

When visiting the Sun Valley area, we offer one day whitewater rafting and kayaking adventures on the Salmon River, in the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley. Our trips are fun and safe for people of all ages. We have paddle rafts, oar boats and inflatable kayaks. We offer class 4 whitewater in May and June during Spring run-off, with class 3 whitewater through the 1st part of September. For those wishing a trip without whitewater, scenic trips are available until August. We are now booking reservations for the 2008 season.

PRE-SEASON SPECIAL

In celebration of our 25nd year in business, White Otter will be offering their 1/2 day trips on the Salmon River between June 1 and June 13 for only $ 50.00. This is over 20% below our normal price. Take advantage of this special deal before the summer rush.

FISHING

Fish the upper Salmon for rainbow and cutthroat on a scenic float/fishing excursion. Call or email for details.

BIG WATER RAFTING

During big snowpack years, White Otter can offer trips on the Murtaugh section of the Snake River near Twin Falls. This section offers 19 miles of class 4-5 rafting.

RAFT RENTALS

For private boaters we offer complete raft rental services for trips on the Middle Fork of the Salmon or Main Salmon. We can help with everything from raft rentals to transportation and food packing. For those visiting central Idaho near Stanley, we can outfit you for one day trips on the Salmon.

KAYAK INSTRUCTION

White Otter will be offering several types of instructional kayak classes for beginners to advanced boaters as well as classes for women only.
